The New York Sun is reporting that it has obtained a confidential memorandum that indicates the Baker-Hamilton Commission will call for concessions by Israel to be the key to enticing Syria and Iran to participate in an international conference on Iraq.
According to the Sun, the revelation comes from Ray Close, a member of the panel's expert advisers, who is an advocate for renewed American diplomacy with Iran and Syria. According to Close, the proposed regional talks would focus on finding "a comprehensive resolution to the Israel-Arab crisis through a process of reasonable compromise and accommodation between Israel and its Arab neighbors."
Jordan's King Abdallah II told his parliament on Tuesday that when he meets with President Bush this week, he will push the American leader to focus more on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which he called the "core" issue in the Middle East.
You had to figure that Baker, who is a Saudi stooge and a dyed in the wool anti semite, would think that killing Jews is the way to solve this, or any other problem.

Any concessions on anyone's part is always seen as a sign of weakness by the Muslims, and never leads to peace.
