MediaLine reports that Israel's High Court of Justice has ruled that the Interior Ministry must recognize homosexual weddings performed abroad though such ceremonies do not currently take place in Israel. Seven judges deliberated the petition with a majority decision being handed down. The ruling forces the ministry's hand, something that is likely to prove highly controversial in years to come.
