Tour guides in Jerusalem with have to find a new line now that the traditional “there are just two embassies in Jerusalem” is no longer applicable. Costa Rica has given notice it is moving its representative office out of Israel’s capital to join the other embassies in Tel Aviv. El Salvador is now the only country to have its embassy in Jerusalem. Costa Rica says it is correcting a policy error as it seeks to improve its relations with the Arab world. The announcement was made by Costa Rica’s president and Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Oscar Arias.
"It's time to rectify an historic error that hurts us internationally and deprives us of almost any form of friendship with the Arab world, and more broadly with Islamic civilization, to which a sixth of humanity belongs," Arias said at an event marking his first 100 days in office. Former Costa Rican President Luis Alberto Monge moved the embassy to Jerusalem in 1982 as a show of support for Israel.
Once more the grantors of the Nobel "Peace" prize show that they choose only those who appease murderers and warmongers or who are murderers themselves.
