We're blown away by Saturday's editorial in The Washington Post, it's a serious dose of reality amongst too many confused voices in the media. First point: Israel is justified in arresting Hamas leaders. This is what happens in a war, and war is what the Hamas-led Palestinian Authority has asked for. Second point: "Israel's Gaza incursion has been reluctant, slow, carefully calibrated -- and as of yesterday, casualty-free." Have you ever seen a more humanitarian operation? Third point: Israel is still pursuing a diplomatic solution and has proven so in its actions. Fourth point: the UN, Egypt and other Arab states "ought to be demanding that Hamas -- and its sponsors in Damascus and Tehran -- stop their own acts of terrorism and war." It's a fantastic must read.
