Yesterday, the Karni goods crossing and Nahal Oz fuel terminal were opened again for the passage of food items and fuel into Gaza. According to our sources, 145 truckloads of basic food items were transferred to Gaza, and at the Nahal Oz fuel terminal, a half million liters of diesel fuel, 90,000 liters of gasoline and 175 tons of natural gas for cooking were transferred.
In contrast, the Palestinians continued to fire Qassam rockets on Israel. Five Qassams landed in Israeli territory today, lightly injuring a foreign worker and sending three other people into shock. The worker was wounded when a Qassam landed in Kibbutz Nativ Haasarah. One rocket landed in Ashkelon's National Park. The second Qassam struck Kibbutz Barur Hil, an area that has yet to absorb rocket fire. As a result of the strike, a fire broke out in the vicinity. A third rocket hit Sderot, damaging a vehicle, and the fourth fell near the Erez crossing into Gaza.
