Shin Bet head Yuval Diskin said Sunday that Iran was considering giving financial aid to the Palestinians if Europe and the U.S. cease funding the Palestinian Authority in light of Hamas's victory in the PLC elections. As we have continually said, the Hamas victory has the potential for creating the first Sunni jihadist state in the Middle East, which would be dangerously and ironically aligned with Shiite Tehran.
