A key component to any negotiations with Hamas, should they ever take place, will be the all important design of Israel's flag. Hamas leader Mahmoud Zahar told CNN's Late Edition on Sunday that "Israel must remove the two blue stripes from its national flag. The stripes on the flag are symbols of occupation. They signify Israel's borders stretching from the Euphrates River to the Nile River."
